South Korean manufacturer makes bold claims to international press on its latest handset’s prospects
Worldwide sales of the Samsung Galaxy S III are expected to top 10 million in July, the manufacturer has claimed to international news agency Reuters.
If that figure is reached it will make the Galaxy S III the company’s fastest selling smartphone.
Demand has reportedly been so high there has already been problems in supply, with some dealers in America being unable to stock the 32GB version and a worldwide delay for the Pebble Blue handset.
Reports of Galaxy S III sales in the UK have also been positive so far with Phones 4U stating the device was already its biggest selling handset of the year based on pre-orders and first day sales.
Carphone Warehouse also claimed the handset had been its fastest selling pre-order of the year.
