Manufacturer’s 808 PureView available for pre-order on Amazon UK for £499 to ship at end of June
Amazon has begun selling Nokia’s 41-megapixel camera phone, the 808 PureView.
The handset is available for pre-order on Amazon UK for £499, and will begin shipping at the end of June.
The PureView created a stir when it was released at Mobile World Congress, with a camera sporting a far higher pixel count than those on any other devices, coupled with a Carl Zeiss camera lens.
It is also the first Nokia handset to feature the firm’s PureView imaging technology.
However, it runs the Symbian operating system, despite Nokia’s decision to throw its weight behind Microsoft’s Windows Phone software.
