Three year exclusive deal signed for the UK and Ireland, with one year agreement penned for Russia
Frequency Telecom has extended its distribution deals with audio accessory firm Jays in the UK, Ireland and now Russia.
The Chessington-based European distributor has signed a new three-year exclusive deal with Swedish firm Jays, which began in January last year.
In addition, Frequency has now become the exclusive distributor of Jays products in Russia, which runs for a minimum of one year.
Jays develops, designs and produces earphones and equipment for portable media players, which are distributed in more than 25 countries.
Frequency supplies Jays products to a number of leading retailers, including Dixons Travel, Vodafone Ireland and Amazon UK.
Frequency Telecom managing director Gareth Limpenny said the deal with Jays complements its portfolio. These include protective handset cases from Case-Mate, power products from Griffin, signal boosters from Nextivity and mobile accessories from HTC and Motorola.
Limpenny said: “Jays adds another high-quality product range that provides excellent sales and commercial opportunities for our international customers.
“We are confident Jays will make a significant contribution to the growth and expansion of the audio market. We have received very positive response from our trade partners.”
Jays CEO Rune Torbjörnsen said: “We are excited to move forward in our cooperation with Frequency Telecom as our exclusive distributor. The supplier has proved that it truly deserves the exclusive right to distribute our products in selected markets.”
