Customers from around the country complain of complete signal loss, as O2 seeks to fix the problem
O2 engineers have been trying to diagnose and fix a problem which caused a service outage this afternoon, affecting customers scattered across the UK.
Customers from as far apart as Cardiff, Glasgow and London reported they were unable to make or receive calls, or use any data this afternoon (July 11) with the first reports coming into O2 at around 1pm.
By 3.30pm the number of customers complaining on the O2 Twitterfeed had increased to around 10 every 15 minutes.
O2 told Mobile News it was investigating the problem and updates would be announced on the service status page of its website.
