A round-up of deals available from mobile retailers online and on the high street


The Apple iPhone 4S is available free from Vodafone on a tariff of £31 a month with 300 minutes, 3,000 texts and 500MB of data. Both the Nokia Lumia 800 in white and HTC One S in black are available free on Orange, from £15.50 a month. The plan for the Lumia 800 comes with 100 minutes, 3,000 texts and 100MB of data, whereas the tariff for the One S comes with 50 minutes, 3,000 texts and 250MB of data. The Samsung Galaxy S II and Sony Xperia S in white are both free from £20.50 a month. The Galaxy S II can be bought with two Orange plans: 100 minutes, 3,000 texts and 500MB of data, or 200 minutes, 3,000 texts and 100MB of data. It is also available on Vodafone with 300 minutes, 3,000 texts and 250MB of data. The Xperia S also comes on Orange with 200 minutes, 3,000 texts and 100MB of data, as well as a free Sony Smartwatch.


The Samsung Galaxy Note, Galaxy S II and BlackBerry Bold 9790 are all free on contract on Orange from £20.50 a month. The tariff for the Samsung duo offers 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data, whereas there are two options for the Bold 9790: 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data, or 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB of data. The Apple iPhone 4S 16GB is available free on T-Mobile from £31 a month, offering 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data. The HTC Wildfire S is also available for just £7.50 a month on Carphone’s Talk Mobile tariff, coming with 250 minutes, 5,000 texts and 500MB of data.


The £5 reduction on monthly line rental for the Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy S II has been extended until July 2. The Galaxy Note is free from £31 a month and Galaxy S II free from £26 a month with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data. The operator is also offering the recently released Samsung Galaxy S III with double the data allowance, free for £41 a month. It now comes with 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB of data.


The BlackBerry Curve 9320 is free from £15.50 a month with 100 minutes, 250 texts, 250MB of data, unlimited BlackBerry email and BlackBerry Messenger. The LG Optimus L3 in white is free from £7 a month with 50 minutes, 100 texts and 250MB of data. T-Mobile customers can now receive unlimited Orange home broadband from £5 a month due to the formation of the Everything Everywhere joint venture. The plan is in addition to line rental of £13.50 a month, with customers receiving unlimited broadband usage and inclusive UK evening and weekend landline calls.


The Sony Xperia S is free from £20.50 a month on Orange and Vodafone plans. There are two tari s on o er from Orange: 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB of data, or 100 minutes, unlimited texts, 500MB of data, free BT Openzone Wi-Fi and one free Orange Swappable. The Vodafone plan comes with 100 minutes, 500 texts, 250MB of data and 1GB of BT Openzone Wi-Fi. Both the Samsung Galaxy Note and HTC One X are free from £21 a month on T-Mobile’s plan with 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data.
