Former Samsung and Carphone Warehouse veteran replaces Warren Lewis to drive business in the regions
LG has appointed Andrew Coughlin as its new UK and Ireland head of mobile. He replaces Warren Lewis, who left the company in February after just five months in the job.
Coughlin, who has amassed over 20 years experience in the mobile indiustry, joins from Samsung Telecommunications Europe, where he was global account director for over four years.
Previous to that, he was global account manager at the company for a year and was a national account manager of Samsung Electronics UK for almost three years.
Prior to joining Samsung, he held a managerial position within Carphone Warehouse’s wholesale team for eight years, where he dealt with customers in Hong Kong, selling end of life stock and returns.
Coughlin said: “I’m very excited to be joining LGE UK as head of mobile and looking forward to working with the team to continue re-energising the LG Mobile brand in the UK and Ireland.
“I bring with me a long career in the mobile industry and experience that I’m confident will support LG’s strong proposition in the smartphone market.”
