Both come with 2,000 cross-network minutes, unlimited T-Mobile calls, texts and web allowance for £33 and £26 a month respectively, with both phones costing £29 upfront. This amounts to a saving of £72 for the duration of the contract with the Galaxy S III, which is available in white and blue, and £240 for the iPhone 4 8GB, which is available in black and white. The T-Mobile Vivacity has had £20 knocked off its prepay price and now costs £69.99.
The HTC One X is being offered for free from £26 a month on T-Mobile with 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 1.5GB of data, with the BlackBerry Bold 9900 available for free costing £1 a month less on Orange, offering 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data. The LG Optimus L3 has had £110 knocked off its prepay price on Vodafone and Virgin and now costs £49.95. It’s still better than half price on T-Mobile at £69.95, and marginally better than half price on Orange at £79.95. Owners of a BlackBerry 7 smartphone – the Bold 9900, Torch 9810, Curve 9320, Curve 9360 or Bold 9790 – can now apply for up to £20 worth of free apps. They should visit mycwpapps.com on their handset and enter their IMEI number and personal details to qualify. They will also get £20 of credit to spend.
The retailer has an exclusive on the Nokia Lumia 900 in white, and it is free for £26 a month on an Orange Dolphin tariff that offers 400 minutes, 3,000 texts and 250MB of data. The iPhone 4 8GB model in black is free from £5 a month more on the same network, and includes 100 minutes, 3,000 texts and 1GB of data. Phones 4U’s special offer sees it shouting about Orange’s SIM-only plan, both for standard and Micro SIMs, which costs £7 a month and includes 150 minutes, 500 texts and 250MB of data.
The operator is celebrating 50 years of James Bond by offering a 22 DVD box set of the 007 films available with any Sony Xperia smartphone. The Xperia U is free from £18.50 a month, the Xperia P free from £27 a month and the Xperia S free from £32 a month. Anyone buying the Nokia Lumia 710 before July 25 will receive a DaedMau5 speaker. The handset is free from £18.50 a month and comes with 200 cross-network minutes, 250 O2 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB of data. In addition, there is a free pair of Dr. Dre Solo Headphones worth £149.99 on offer to anyone opting for the HTC One V. This is free from £27 a month and includes 300 cross-network minutes, 500 O2 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.
Upgrading customers can pick up unlimited minutes, texts and 1GB of data when they pay £29.99 upfront for the Samsung Galaxy S III on a £36 a month contract. Orange is also offering a £20 HMV voucher to anyone paying £49.99 or more for a prepay handset. These include the Samsung Galaxy Mini for £79.99, LG Optimus L3 for £94.99, Nokia Lumia 710 for £179.99 and BlackBerry Curve 9360 for £199.99.
