Manufacturer’s products aimed at senior market to be offered to distributor’s network of small independent electronics retailers

Senior handset manufacturer Doro has signed a distribution deal with electronics trade distributor Midwich.

The deal will see Midwich distribute Doro’s range of mobile, DECT, landline and care products to its network of small independent electronics stores via its MidwichHome retail division.

Midwich product manager Kane Barker said: “We distribute to independent consumer electronics retailers, many of which have a high number of traditional and more senior customers – due to their positioning in local, trustworthy locations.

“Doro products certainly fulfil the needs of the growing population looking for a better and easier experience with everyday technology.

“We have the infrastructure in place to compliment Doro’s portfolio and grow our specialist channels specifically within the senior mobile market.”

Doro UK managing director Chris Millington (pictured) said: “The independent network is both a growth opportunity and an excellent route to provide consumers with outstanding and credible customer support and care.

“Our devices are especially developed and designed to offer technology in an easy-to-use package – making staying in contact with family and friends better for all, especially our senior audience.”
