A round-up of deals available from mobile retailers online and on the high street


The Samsung Galaxy S III is free for £26 a month with T-Mobile offering 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data. The upfront cost for the handset is now £49, down from £150. Customers also receive free home broadband from TalkTalk for a year. The HTC Desire C, Samsung Galaxy Y and LG Optimus L3 are all half price on a Talk Mobile tariff offering 250 minutes, 5,000 texts and 500MB of data. The Desire C is now £10 a month, with the Galaxy Y and Optimus L3 now £7.50 a month. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 and HTC One X have both had their upfront prices knocked down, and cost £26 a month on contract with T-Mobile. The Bold, which cost £149.99, is now free with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data. The One X, which cost £169.99, is now £29.99 and comes with 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 1536MB of data.


The Samsung Galaxy S III free from £31 a month on Orange. The Dolphin plan offers 200 minutes, 3,000 texts and 100MB of data, with the Panther tariff offering 100 minutes, 3,000 texts, 500MB of data and one ‘Swapable’. The Samsung Galaxy Note is also on offer on the two tariffs for £20.50 a month. This time the Dolphin plan offers 200 minutes, 3,000 texts and 100MB of data, with the Panther plan offering 100 minutes, 3,000 texts, 500MB of data and one free Swapable.


The Apple iPhone 4S 16GB has had £30 knocked off its upfront price, which is now £29. It is available for £36 a month with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data. The line rental for the HTC Desire C has been discounted by £5 and now costs £15.50 a month, offering 100 minutes, 500 texts and 250MB of data. The Samsung Galaxy Ace has the same line rental and comes with the same text and data allowances, but with double minutes.


A pair of Beats headphones worth £149.99 are being offered to anyone that takes the HTC Desire C on contract from £21.50 a month, coming with 200 cross-network minutes, 250 O2 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data. O2’s top business deal sees the Samsung Galaxy S III free for £38.33 a month. Customers receive unlimited minutes and texts, as well as 1GB of data. The Sony Xperia go is free for £18.50 a month with the same allowances as the Desire C, except with just 100MB of monthly data.


The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is free on the £15.50 a month Panther tari with 50 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB of data. Customers opting to pay an additional £5 a month will receive double minutes and data. Anyone purchasing the Samsung Tocco Lite 2, Samsung Ch@t 335 and Orange Sydney on prepay will receive £50 of free credit, subject to a £10 top-up. These phones cost £59.99, £49.99 and £34.99 respectively.


The BlackBerry Curve 9320 is free on the network’s Essential Internet 100 tariff for £13 a month, which comes with 100 minutes, 5,000 texts and 250MB of data. Customers can choose to pay an additional £3 a month to get the handset on Three’s Unlimited 100 tariff, which includes the same number of minutes and texts but with unlimited data. The Samsung Galaxy Ace is also free on this plan for £13 a month.
