A round-up of deals available from mobile retailers online and on the high street


There’s £220 off the handset price of the Samsung Galaxy S III, which now costs £49 upfront on the Orange Dolphin 31 tariff that comes with 600 minutes, 3,000 texts and 250MB of data for £26 a month. The Galaxy Note in white is now available for free having been priced at £39.99 upfront. It is chepest on Orange for £20.50 a month, coming with 100 minutes, 3,000 texts and 500MB of data. For an additional £1 a month, customers can get the handset on O2 with 200 cross-network minutes, 250 minutes to other O2 users, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.


The operator is offering a free Sony Bluetooth speaker worth £149 with both the Sony Xperia P and Xperia U. The Xperia P is free from £21.50 a month with 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data, with the Xperia U free from £13.50 a month with 250 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB of data. O2 is also offering three months of free EA mobile games with every purchase of the HTC One S. The handset is free from £32 a month and comes with 600 cross-network minutes, 500 minutes to other O2 mobiles, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.


The Sony Xperia Tipo and Nokia Lumia 710 are both free on Talkmobile contracts from £7.50 a month, coming with 250 minutes, 5,000 texts and 500MB of data. Customers can pay an additional £2.50 a month to receive the phone free on Orange and O2, but with decreased allowances. The Orange deal offers 30 minutes, 500 texts and 100MB of data, whereas the O2 tariff comes with 50 minutes and unlimited texts. Carphone is also continuing to knock big money off prepay handsets. There is £110 off the Samsung Galaxy Y, which now costs £49.95, with £100 knocked off the HTC Salsa, which is now available for £99.95. The Samsung Galaxy Ace on Three, Motorola Motosmart and LG Optimus L3 have all been reduced by £90, costing £109.95, £89.95 and £49.95 respectively.


Both the Apple iPhone 4S 16GB black and Samsung Galaxy S III are free on O2 deals costing £27 a month. Both come with unlimited texts and 500MB of data. The Galaxy S III comes with 300 minutes, with 200 minutes offered with the iPhone 4S. Both the HTC One X in white and BlackBerry Bold 9900 are free on T-Mobile for £21 a month, and include 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data.


The Apple iPhone 4 8GB in black and BlackBerry Bold 9790 are available for £26 a month on T-Mobile’s Full Monty tariff, which offers 2,000 cross-network minutes, unlimited minutes to other T-Mobile users, unlimited texts and unlimited data. The iPhone costs £29 upfront, representing a saving of £240. The Bold 9790 is free on the contract. The Samsung Galaxy Mini is free from £7 a month with 50 minutes, 100 texts and 250 minutes, whereas the Motorola Motosmart is free from £5.50 a month with 50 minutes, 250 minutes and 250MB of data.
