Daisy launches ‘O2 Landline Bill Challenge’ incentive

Airtime distributor’s dealers to ask customers to submit their bills to identify cost savings, who will be entered into a prize draw to win £1,000 in holiday vouchers

Daisy Distribution has launched its ‘O2 Landline Bill Challenge’ dealer incentive, enabling their customers the chance to win £1,000 worth of holiday vouchers.

The incentive, which runs from October 1 until November 30, will see dealers ask their customers to submit copies of their current landline bills for comparison against the corresponding tariffs on offer from O2.

Cost savings identified will be reported back to the customer but in the event of no possible savings, the customer will be offered an Apple iPad in return.

Those who submit their bills will be entered into the prize draw, regardless of whether a saving has been achieved.

The airtime distributor will provide participating dealers with marketing material, incorporating e-shots and flyers to be used when communicating the offer to their customers.

Daisy Distribution marketing director Julien Parven (pictured) said: “The aim of the exercise is to help our partners to realise the revenue available from their existing customer base by creating a simple and compelling incentive for customers to submit landline bills for analysis.

“Once the bills are received, all the tariff and usage analysis is completed for the partner using Daisy Distribution’s connections, leaving the partner to concentrate on closing the sale.

“We are confident that in over 90 per cent of cases we can show a significant saving on their existing landline estate by switching to the O2 model. And as a result, bring further benefit to the partner by way of the commission and revenue opportunity, without sharing the exposure of any liability to the cost of the iPads with them.”
