Wi-Fi version of tablet gets enhanced security and usability features
RIM has released an update for its BlackBerry PlayBook operating system for the Wi-Fi only version of the device.
With the new OS 2.1 users will have access to enhanced security features, the ability to send a text from a PlayBook through the BlackBerry Bridge smartphone app and contacts and calendar apps will be available in portrait mode.
The update is now available as a free download to current PlayBook users, with automatic notifications set to be sent out.
