Brighton is the city with the highest rate of mobile theft, according to research conducted by protectyourbubble.com.

Mobile owners are over four times more likely to have their handset stolen in the seaside resort compared to the national average.

It is followed by Manchester and then jointly by Leicester and Belfast as being third and forth most likely cities to have your mobile phone stolen. London was fifth highest.

The safest city in terms of mobile theft is Sunderland, followed by Hull, Bradford, Edinburgh and Wakefield.
