A round-up of deals available from mobile retailers online and on the high street


The Samsung Galaxy S III is now free on a Vodafone contract costing £29 a month that comes with 300 cross-network minutes, 250 minutes

to other Vodafone users, unlimited texts and 2GB of Wi-Fi with BT Openzone. The Samsung Galaxy Ace is free for £7.50 a month on Talkmobile with either 100 minutes, 5,000 texts and 250MB of data or 250 minutes, 5,000 texts and 500MB of data. There is also £80 off the phone’s prepay price, which now costs £99.95. Carphone is also offering a Toshiba 32-inch LCD TV to customers that sign up to the Samsung Galaxy Y or Nokia 100 on Orange for £15.50 a month, or the LG Optimus L3 on Orange for £20.50 a month.


The newly-released Samsung Galaxy Note II in black and white is free for £41 a month on both O2 and Orange. O2’s On & On tariff offers unlimited minutes, texts, 1GB of data and free Wi-Fi, with the Orange plan coming with 900 minutes, 3,000 texts, 1GB of data and Orange ‘Swapables’. With the arrival of the Apple iPhone 5, it’s predecessor the 4S is now free for £33 a month on Vodafone with 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 500MB of data and 2GB of Wi-Fi. The retailer is also offering a free Xbox 360 4GB to anyone opting for the Nokia Lumia 800 on Vodafone for £25 a month, which comes with 300 minutes, unlimited texts, 250MB of data and 1GB of Wi-Fi.


The iPhone 4S 16GB black is available for £29 up front and costing £29 a month on Three’s Ultimate Internet 500 tariff that includes 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and unlimited data. Customers can pay an additional £4 a month for the Ultimate Internet 1,000 tariff to double their monthly allowance of minutes. The Sony Xperia U has had £20 knocked off its prepay price, and now costs £149.99.


The operator has the exclusive on the Xperia T ‘Bond Phone’ in recognition of the upcoming instalment in the 007 franchise, Skyfall. The phone, which comes pre-loaded with content from the film as well as a free ‘007 Legends’ game for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, is available on O2’s On & On tariff that comes with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data. There’s £30 off both the Nokia Lumia 610 and LG Optimus L3, which costs £99.99 and £69.99 respectively. Customers will receive a free £30 Toni & Guy gift card with the Optimus L3.


The iPhone 4S has had its price slashed with the arrival of its upgrade, the iPhone 5 and comes with £10 off the monthly line rental. With an upfront cost of £49, it comers on the Full Monty tariff for £31 a month with unlimited allowances across the board. This represents a saving of £240 across the duration of a two-year contract. There is also £10 a month off the line rental of the BlackBerry Bold 9790, which is free on the Full Monty tariff for £26 a month with 2,000 cross-network minutes, unlimited T-Mobile calls, and unlimited texts and data.
