BrightPoint has indicated come changes may occur as they are integrated with the American electronics company
Ingram Micro has completed its acquisition of BrightPoint, with the aim of creating a leading global provider of device lifecycle services.
The American electronics company paid $9 (£5.60) per share for BrightPoint, which distributes customized logistic services to the wireless industry.
The two companies will continue to operate as usual for the time being, but a statement on BrightPoint’s website says “some changes may occur as we integrate our organisations.”
Ingram said the acquisition supports its “long-term growth strategy to expand the company’s business in high growth markets, while increasing its services and solutions capabilities.”
