Krusell chooses distributor to supply retailer partners with headphones and earphones manufactured in partnership with British rock band
Smartphone accessory manufacturer Krusell has selected Chessington-based Frequency Telecom as a distributor for its Motörheadphönes audio range in the UK and Ireland.
The deal with Krusell is the second major contract win for Frequency Telecom in the past four months after it extended its distribution deals with audio accessory firm Jays in the UK, Ireland and Russia in June.
Krusell has so far launched five products under the Motörheadphönes range (see Mobile News issue 523). These include Motorizer (£129), Iron Fist (£99) Bomber (£79), Overkill (£49) and Trigger (£39).
Frequency said all products will go on sale through major high street retailers from mid-November. Discussions with retailers to stock the products are ongoing.
Krusell UK and Ireland country manager Med Jeewoth said: “When looking for a UK and Ireland distributor, Frequency Telecom was an obvious choice. Its wealth of experience combined with its wide-ranging sales channel gives us the broad route to market necessary to make the big impact we are looking for.”
Frequency Telecom managing director Gareth Limpenny said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for Frequency Telecom and confirms our place as a leading UK distributor of high-quality audio products. The Motörheadphönes range fits into our portfolio perfectly with its unique blend of build and sound quality.”
