Asus unveil new Nexus 7 tablet

The Asus tablet costs around £200 and comes with 3G connectivity

A new version of the Nexus 7 tablet, which has 32GB storage and 3G connectivity, went on sale in the UK today (October 29).

The device by Asus costs £199 and is on sale in retailers including Carphone Warehouse, HMV, PC World and Currys.

It comes with Android 4.2 and a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. Asus says the keyboard has also been improved on the original.

It will be available on network Three from mid-November. Three will announce tariffs shortly.

The original Nexus 7 had 16GB capacity and is the best-selling Android tablet in the UK.
