HTC flagship Windows Phone device available for pre-order

Phones 4U, Carphone Warehouse and Three all make 8X available for order three days prior to Friday’s release

HTC has announced its new Windows Phone handset the 8X will be available on Friday (November 2) with pre-orders starting immediately at Phones 4U, Carphone Warehouse and Three.

Following the pre-sale the device will also be available from EE stores, O2, Virgin Media, Brightpoint and Tech Data Mobile.

HTC UK and Ireland executive director Phil Roberson said: “This is the first time HTC Windows Phone device have had full UK distribution. The level of interest is a testament to our deliberate Windows Phone design strategy and the inclusion of HTC’s iconic feature set.”
