Summary

James at Three was a clear winner, with a plan offering more data than anyone else and also at a cheaper price point.

For the most part the other network stores had at least one member of staff who was clued-up on tethering and could explain how it worked.

Offerings at O2, Orange and Vodafone seemed very expensive for SIM-only deals and were unlikely to secure a sale. Dom at Orange showed the least interest in my custom, while Christina at Vodafone lost faith when she saw the prices.

T-Mobile’s assistant started well and could have scored higher if he’d actually offered me anything.
