Orange and T-Mobile provider will now also supply handset replacements to EE’s ‘care’ customers
EE has signed a contract with Lifestyle Services Group (LSG) to provide insurance services to its customers across the three brands.
Following the agreement LSG will assess claims, arrange handset replacements and provide customer services for the operator’s care customers, underwritten by Allianz.
The firm currently manages eight million policies on mobile phones in the UK and, it claims, arranges three replacement handsets every minute.
Lifestyle Services Group business development director Andy Morris said: “It is a great privilege to be working in partnership with EE and Allianz to provide the next generation of mobile phone insurance, and delighted to be recognised for our expertise in this market.
EE head of care for value added products Chris Male added: “It is important that we provide a wide range of premium insurance products so that we can ensure our customers are offered the very best service. EE has developed a strong working relationship with LSG and Allianz and we are pleased to build on this partnership and preserve the quality of our customers’ experience.”
