EE said the delay, which is expected to last two weeks, is due to the testing process over-running

EE has delayed its SIM-only 4G plans for a “few weeks”.

The company was due to launch the plans today, but posted a message on twitter today alerting potential customers to the delay.

EE said on its Twitter account: “Sorry folks – there’s been a date change for our SIM-only plans. We expect to bring them in the next two weeks. Stay tuned for the new date.”

A spokesperson said the delay was due to its “comprehensive testing process over-running slightly.”

“We know many customers are anticipating these plans and apologise for this short hold up. However they will be reassured that we are determined to offer the very best service possible.”
