PhoneEasy 612 features 2mp camera, easy to read display and is hearing aid compatible
Carphone Warehouse has announced it will stock the new Doro PhoneEasy 612 handset in its stores around the UK.
The clamshell device will be stocked by the retailer alongside its predecessor the PhoneEasy 610.
Aimed at the elderly market, the device features a 2mp camera, easy to read text display, Bluetooth and is hearing aid compatible with extra loud ringing and enhanced audio volume.
The partnership with Carphone is currently being promoted through Doro’s pre-Christmas television advertising campaign, broadcast during selected programmes on ITV1, ITV3, Channel 4, Channel 5, Alibi and Yesterday.
Carphone channel marketing manager Chris Dance said: “We’re confident the PhoneEasy 612 will be just as popular, if not more so, than the PhoneEasy 610 was – especially now that it features an easy-to-use camera, which is a feature our customers appreciate. This phone brings the enjoyment of a camera phone to a wider audience in an easy-to-use and inclusive way.”
The handset is available on prepay and costs £59.95.
