Top end plans now offer 8GB of data rather than the 5GB given to customers at launch
EE has increased the amount of data given to customers on its 4G mobile broadband plans by an average of 60 per cent.
Customers previously on 2GB plans will now get 3GB for the same monthly fee, 3GB plans now go up to 5GB and the top-end plan now comes with 8GB of data, rather than 5GB at launch.
EE has also launched a rolling monthly mobile broadband plan for £15.99 for 5GB of data with the first month being offered free.
EE chief marketing officer consumer Pippa Dunn said: “These updates underline our commitment to offering customers the best value and choice from our plans. We recognise Superfast 4GEE opens up a range of possibilities for our customers from browsing to gaming to HD movie streaming so it’s right that we increase the breadth of our plans to meet everyone’s needs.”
