O2’s head of 4G strategy departs to lead mHealth team

Former head of business programmes Sarah Craig to replace Nikki Flanders, who becomes MD of O2’s health and social care arm

O2 has appointed its head of 4G strategy Nikki Flanders as the new MD of O2 Health, replacing Keith Nurcombe who leaves the network.

Her role in the 4G strategy team will be taken by former head of business programmes Sarah Craig.

The operator’s health and social care arm develops mobile health solutions including lone worker products and UC solutions for hospitals and other care environments.

Prior to joining the O2 4G strategy team Flanders worked for a number of high street retailers and health charities.

She said: “I’m delighted to be joining O2 Health and build on the fantastic work to date. I passionately believe we can make a huge difference to people’s health and care while supporting clinicians and carers, through technology innovation.

“I have first-hand experience of how technology can empower people with health conditions and those who care for them – and have a vision for O2 Health that reflects this.”
