Smart TV allows content to be viewed remotely on tablets produced by the manufacturer

Samsung has announced a range of ‘smart’ devices to compliment its smartphones and tablets including TVs and connected cameras.

At Las Vegas event CES yesterday (January 7) the manufacturer announced a number of new connected appliances including a television that can connect to a Samsung tablet to allow viewers to view content from the TV on the tablet around the home.

The IT division of the manufacturer announced the Samsung For Enterprise programme which it claims will increase security for businesses with a BYOD policy. The software will allow IT departments to install apps and on-device encryption to the manufacturer’s smartphones and tablets.

It also unveiled a new collection of connected cameras and home appliances such as ‘connected fridges’ which allow remote temperature controls.
