Cowdry, who oversaw the launch of several initiatives at O2 including Priority Ticketing and Priority Moments, has accepted a job at National Lottery operator Camelot

O2 marketing and consumer director Sally Cowdry has left the company to join National Lottery operator Camelot.

Cowdry oversaw the launch of several initiatives at O2 including Priority Ticketing, Priority Moments and its sponsorship of the Millenium Dome. She led the rollout of a new business approach for the company which championed innovation.

An O2 spokesperson said: “We want to thank Sally for everything she has done for O2 and our brand over the last 13 years. We wish her all the very best with her new opportunity at Camelot.  Sally will be with us for the next few months while we fill the position and to ensure a smooth transition.

“We have already kicked off the process to find Sally’s replacement and will take the opportunity to look both externally and within the Telefonica group.”
