A round-up of deals available from mobile retailers online and on the high street


There is £8 a month off line rental on the HTC Desire X, which is free for £21 a month on Vodafone with 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 500MB of data and 250MB of Wi-Fi. There is £5.50 a month off the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini, BlackBerry Bold 9790 and Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. The Galaxy S III Mini and Bold 9790 are free for £18.50 a month on O2 with 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB of data, while the Galaxy Ace 2 comes with the same allowance minus the data allowance for £15.50 a month. The Nokia Lumia 610 (£99.95), Samsung Galaxy Y (£64.95), LG Optimus L3 and Nokia Asha 300 (both £44.95) are all now half price on prepay.


The Nokia Lumia 920, which cost £99.95 up front, is now free on Orange for £31 a month with 400 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data. Customers also receive a free wireless charging plate with the phone. The Samsung Galaxy Y, having cost £29 up front, is now free on Vodafone for £29 a month with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data. The retailer is also offering half-price discounts off the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and Nokia Lumia 800, which now cost £149.95. There is also £80 o the Sony Xperia U, which now costs £119.95.


The Samsung Galaxy S III and Sony Xperia T have had their up-front handset prices on contract slashed. The Galaxy S III now costs £99.99, having cost £299.99, while the Xperia T is free, having been £249.99. Both come on a £26 a month deal with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data. The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and HTC Desire X, which both cost £79.99, are now free on a £10.50 contract with 50 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB of data. There is £20 off the prepay price of the Galaxy Ace 2, Nokia Lumia 800 and HTC Desire C. The Galaxy Ace 2 costs £139.99, with the Lumia 800 and Desire C both priced at £129.99.


The Samsung Galaxy S II and Sony Xperia J now have no up-front handset cost on contract, having been priced at £159.99 and £99.99 respectively. The Galaxy S II is free from £20.50 a month and Xperia J from £15.50 a month with either 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data or 50 minutes, unlimited texts, 250MB of data and one Orange Swapable. On prepay, the Galaxy S II is half price (£199.99), with £50 off the Galaxy Ace 2 and Xperia J (£129.99 and £119.99). There is £25 off the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 (£99.99) and £20 off the BlackBerry Curve 9320, HTC Desire C and Samsung Tocco Lite 2, which cost £119.99, £99.99 and £39.99 respectively.


The Sony Xperia T is free on contract – a saving of £269.99 over the course of a two-year contract. It is available for £26 a month with 2,000 cross-network minutes, unlimited T-Mobile calls, unlimited texts and unlimited data. The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is also now free on contract, representing a saving of £250 over the life of the contract. It is available for £10.50 a month with 50 minutes, 250 texts and 250MB of data. On prepay, there is £25o the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 and T-Mobile Beat, which now cost £99.99 and £34.99 respectively.
