O2 partners can access training resources through an online portal, designed to help them attract, develop and retain staff
O2 has today launched a digital programme for its partners so they can have greater access to training resources.
The Partner Academy will offer an extensive skills programme to O2’s partners’ sales teams, including customer service, sales, product and management training through an online portal. It aims to help partners attract, develop and retain staff.
Face to face meetings at O2’s Partner Academy in Stratford Upon Avon will continue to take place.
O2’s head of small business Paul Lawton said the programme will enable it to support more partners and will save them time and money, as it will no longer be essential to travel to receive training.
“Winning and retaining business in this difficult economic climate remains a big challenge for our partners. We wanted to develop the academy to provide partners with the knowledge and skills required to be successful in a digital way,” Lawton said.
O2 partner 8020 managing director Andrew Edgar said: “This initiative demonstrates that O2 really understands both the partner channel and the current economic climate.”
