A round-up of deals available from mobile retailers online and on the high street

The Sony Xperia Z is available to pre-order, ready for delivery on February 28. It is cheapest on O2’s On & On tariff for £36 a month with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data, with an upfront cost of £29.99 for the handset. A pair of Sony headphones worth £299 are also being given away with all pre-orders. Carphone also continues to offer tablets with the Samsung Galaxy Ace. Customers paying £15.50 a month on Orange can pick up a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, while paying an additional £3 a month on an O2 deal will see them receive a Kindle Fire HD.
The Samsung Galaxy S III in silver, blue and brown is free on an Orange contract costing £26 a month with either 400 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB of data, or 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data. The iPhone 4S 16GB in black and white is now £29.95 up front on a £25 a month Vodafone tariff with 100 minutes, unlimited texts, 100MB of data and 2GB of Wi-Fi. Like Carphone, customers can also pre-order the Sony Xperia Z . Phones 4U is offering it £3 a month cheaper on a Vodafone deal with 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 1GB of data and 2GB of Wi-Fi, with an upfront charge of £29 for the handset. The free headphones worth £299 are also offered.
The BlackBerry Z10 is offered on O2’s On& On tariff free for £36 a month with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data. The offer is available until February 13. The HTC One X+ is also available with the same allowances for £31 a month. The Samsung Galaxy S III mini in blue and HTC Desire X both cost £79.99 up front on a £13.50 a month deal that offers 50 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB of data. The latter has also had £20 taken off its prepay price, and now costs £209.99.
The Sony Xperia miro, BlackBerry Curve 9320 and HTC Desire C are all free on a £13 a month deal with 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB of data. They all come with Vodafone’s Data Test Drive, enabling customers to use as much data as they like for three months. The BlackBerry Curve 9320 costs £150 on prepay and comes with the ‘BlackBerry Freebee’. Customers opting into this can top up by £10 and receive free BlackBerry Messenger, internet browsing, email and access to the BlackBerry App World.
The Apple iPhone 4S and 5 are both available on contracts costing £34 a month. The 4S comes with 2,000 minutes, 5,000 texts and unlimited data with an upfront charge of £29. The iPhone 5 costs £70 more up front and comes with 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and unlimited data. There are also a number of prepay offers being pushed by Three. These include the BlackBerry Curve 9320 for £129.99 and Samsung Galaxy Ace for £109.99.
