LG has launched two mid-range android smartphones, the Optimus F5 and F7, ahead of Mobile World Congress
LG has announced two new 4G enabled android smartphones, to debut at Mobile World Congress this weekend.
The Optimus F5 has a 4.3-inch screen and a 1.2GHz processor, which the Optimus F7 has a 4.7-inch screen and 1.5GHz dual-core processor. Both run on the android jelly bean 4.1.2 operating system.
The Optimus F5 and Optimus F7 are mid-range handsets but come with features including QSlide, which allows users to open two apps at the same time, and Live Zooming, which enables users to zoom in on video recordings. Both features were previously only available on LG’s premium devices.
The Optimus F5 will be rolled out in the second quarter of this year, starting in Europe. The Optimus F7 will follow, in selected markets.
Pricing will be announced at a later date, the manufacturer said.
