Former Nimans sales manager Weaver joins distributor to help resellers looking to build their convergence-based businesses
Micro-P has strengthened its unified communications team with the appointment of Mark Weaver as sales manager for communications.
Weaver (pictured), who was a sales manager at distributor Nimans from August 2007 until July 2011, is tasked with focusing on business development and along with his team of specialist account managers, providing help to resellers wanting to build their convergence-based solutions business.
“As well as Samsung, NEC and Panasonic systems we have an excellent range of peripheral products including Plantronics, BT and Konftel,” he said. “I’ve taken time out to examine the market place and quickly established that Micro-P is a company in significant growth. It was clear they were investing considerable time and resources in to building the leading communications distribution business.
“Convergence is the core message at Micro-P; it’s a huge selling point across several business units and we have the support and services wrap in place for resellers to grow their business”
