Devices all running Android OS built for the ‘style conscious’
Alcatel One Touch has launched four handsets, including one that will have a 13-megapixel camera in selected markets.
The One Touch Idol X (pictured) is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and runs Android 4.2. It has a five-inch HD screen and eight megapixel camera (13 megapixel model will be available in selected markets), as well as a 2.1 megapixel front camera and HD video recording and playback.
It also provides 16GB of internal memory, expandable by 32GB with a microSD card, and goes on sale in July.
The One Touch Idol Ultra is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and runs Android 4.1. It has a 4.7-inch HD screen, eight megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera, HD video recording and playback and internal memory of 16GB. It will be available in black, red, yellow, turquoise, green and ‘fresh rose’.
The One Touch Idol is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and runs Android 4.1. It comes with a 4.7 inch screen, as well as an eight megapixel rear camera, two megapixel front camera, HD video recording and playback and 4GB of internal memory, expandable by up to 32GB with a microSD card.
The One Touch Star is the lowest specified of the four handsets. It features the same processor and Android software as the One Touch Idol but has a four inch screen, five megapixel camera, HD video recording and playback and internal memory of 4GB that can be expanded by a further 32GB with a microSD card.
It will come in white, silver, grey and pink. The One Touch Idol Ultra, One Touch Idol and One Touch Star will all be available from next month.
