Two highly-specified devices and the first to run the Firefox OS form part of 13 new smartphones announced by manufacturer
Alcatel One Touch has unveiled a further three smartphones, including the first to run the new Mozilla Firefox operating system. The manufacturer has now announced 13 handsets at this year’s Mobile World Congress.
The One Touch Snap (pictured left) is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs Android 4.2. It has a 4.5-inch HD screen, eight megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, HD video recording and playback and internal memory of 4GB, expandable by 32GB with a micro SD card. It will go on sale in April.
The One Touch Snap LTE is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor and runs Android 4.1. It has a 4.65-inch screen, eight megapixel rear camera, two megapixel front camera, HD video recording and playback, and the same internal and expandable memory as the One Touch Snap. It will be available in July.
The One Touch Snap (pictured right), which will go on sale in June, will be the first smartphone to run the new Firefox OS. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and has a 3.5-inch screen, 3.2-megapixel camera, and internal memory of 512MB, expandable by a further 32GB with a microSD card.
