Three and ANOVO raise £35k for Prince’s Trust

Firms join forces for recycling scheme to raise money for the charity

Three and ANOVO have raised more than £35,000 for the Prince’s Trust charity through a recycling scheme in stores.

Repair and after-sales solutions specialists ANOVO designed and supplied recycling bins to be placed in Three’s 350 retail stores. The operator’s indirect dealer partners also contributed handsets.

All mobiles were then sent to Three’s offices in Maidenhead and Glasgow before being collected by ANOVO, which processed them at its factory in Enfield. Handsets were either stripped down or refurbished and sold elsewhere.

Three business operations director Patrick Binchy (pictured right) said: “All these funds will go to support young people across the UK to get a better chance at life, and we’re all very proud of that. ANOVO has shown great commitment on this project and I am excited that it has been such a success.”

ANOVO chief commercial officer Stephen Maxwell (pictured centre) said: “We were delighted to be involved in this project and look forward to working with Three on similar projects in the future.”
