Manufacturer LG has sold 10 million LTE-devices across the world, and says it will continue to expand
LG announced it has sold 10 million LTE-enabled devices to date, doubling its sales in six months.
The manufacturer cites its success at reaching the benchmark as a result of its “aggressive push” into 4G markets.
These include the US, Japan, Germany and South Korea. LG is to release several 4G-enabled, L-series devices in the UK this year.
LG president and CEO Dr. Jong-Seok Park said: “Aggressive pushing forward with 4G LTE technology allows LG satisfy the needs of consumers and is a huge factor in our growing success in global LTE smartphone sales.
“Having established ourselves as a major industry player, we will continue to expand our footprint in the global LTE market with a wider range of differentiated, high quality LTE smartphones.”
