EE distributor to hold sessions across the country to provide introduction of the recent new products and services launched by the manufacturer
Mainline Digital Communications will run three training days this month in conjunction with BlackBerry to educate dealers on the manufacturer’s new BB10 operating system.
These will take place at BlackBerry’s head offices in Slough on March 12 and at Mainline’s head offices in Burton-on-Trent on March 21. A third training day, to take place in the north of the country, has yet to be confirmed.
The sessions, which will also give dealers a detailed introduction to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server 10 (BES 10) proposition and the new Z10 smartphone, will count towards them achieving BlackBerry Gold Sales accreditation this year.
The announcement follows a BlackBerry 10 preview event, which Mainline hosted for its best performing dealers at the Hotel du Vin in Birmingham on January 22. There, BlackBerry representatives gave demonstrations of the Z10 and new operating system. Mainline also outlined its BlackBerry 10 marketing and training support plans.
Mainline managing director Andrew Boden (pictured) said: “We promised training support and now we’re delivering in the South, the Midlands and the North of the country. In addition to the training, our BlackBerry Gold-accredited sales team will help dealers to get to grips with the sales opportunities the new handset and operating system are creating.
“4G from EE together with BB10 from RIM makes a formidable proposition for business customers. Our recent BlackBerry incentive programme smashed its sales targets and galvanised our dealers’ sales teams behind the BlackBerry range. Our aim this year is to maintain that momentum. This training programme is the next step in that process.”
