Gamma takes 48th place in the newspaper’s list of 100 best companies to work for
Distributor Gamma has been voted one of the ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ by the Sunday Times.
Gamma, which distributes IP telephony as well as mobiles, is 48th in the list, which places companies according to their performance in eight areas: leadership, wellbeing, giving something back, personal growth, fairness and how staff feel towards their manager, company and team.
The mobile, data and IP telephony distributor is the highest placed communications provider.
Chief executive Bob Falconer said: “ Recruiting, motivating, and retaining the best employees is at the heart of our strategy, and is critical for our continued growth. Trust and confidence needs to flow both ways, and at Gamma all staff are given the headroom – not just to do the job – but to improve it.
“As we continue to grow we are absolutely determined to avoid developing a corporate culture. It’s both fantastic and humbling for the company to be recognised in this way.”
