O2 gets exclusivity on red Nokia Lumia 720

O2 is the first operator in the UK to confirm it will sell the Nokia Lumia 720, to retail around £215 excluding tax

O2 has confirmed it will have exclusivity over the Nokia Lumia 720 in red, when the device goes on sale with the operator in April.

The Nokia Lumia 720, unveiled at Mobile World Congress last month, is to go on sale in red and black in the UK in the second quarter of the year.

It will retail around £215 (excluding tax) and is the slimmest Nokia Lumia to date, at 9 mm wide.

It has a 4.3-inch display, 6.7 megapixel camera and a 2000mAh battery.

O2 has highlighted features of the phone including the Lumia’s exclusive digital lenses, including ‘Glam Me’ which allows you to take self portraits and alter them by tanning your skin or whitening your teeth.

The Nokia Lumia 720 will come with the manufacturer’s HERE Maps and LiveSight which identifies shops, restaurants and businesses around you.
