Device now available at the Samsung Experience Store at Westfield Stratford City, with £60 worth of content and services available until April 15
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is now available to buy from the Samsung Experience Store at Westfield Stratford City, with other channels to follow.
Until April 15, the Galaxy Note 8.0 will come pre-loaded with £60 worth of content and services. This consists of a £20 voucher to spend at the Samsung Learning Hub, a two month subscription to The Times newspaper worth £32, AVG Anti-Virus Pro, free access to the Samsung Music Hub for a month, and games Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2.
Samsung said it doesn’t set the price of its devices as that is something for its channel partners to decide on.
The Galaxy Note 8.0, which was announced at Mobile World Congress in February, is powered by a quad-core 1.6GHz processor and runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
It has an eight-inch touchscreen, five megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera and external memory of up to 64GB with a microSD card.
Other features include Samsung’s S Pen technology, which enables users to create, edit, manage and share documents, as well as the ability to split the screen to access a number of live applications at the same time.
