MVNO, which uses EE’s network, will now offer monthly bundles from £5 to £25, with 10 per cent going to charity
UK MVNO The People’s Operator (TPO) has added contracts to its prepay offering.
TPO launched in November on EE’s network, with 25 per cent of profits from prepay sales going to charity. Ten per cent of contract prices will go to charity each month.
Contract prices range from £5 to £25 with the most expensive bundle offering unlimited calls, text and 1GB of data. Launch promotions will see the £25 bundle reduced to £20 and the £20 bundle, which comes with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data, will cost £18.
Since its launch in November it has expanded its charity partners to include ChildLine, the Children’s Heart Foundation and will soon add the Big Issue Foundation.
TPO co-founder Mark Epstein (pictured) said: “We are very excited to be rolling out the next phase of our strategy and building on the success of the last few months as we expand into offering monthly contracts. Our partners and our customers are both set to benefit from our competitive pricing and the knowledge that their money is going to the causes that matter to them most.”
EE director of MVNO and national M2M Jason Bellman said: “We’re proud to be working with TPO with their highly innovative business model that gives back to society and now offers a great new range of monthly price plans.”
