Doro has released a new handset aimed at the older market with durable features for those who enjoy an ‘outdoor lifestyle’.

The PhoneEasy 520X is a 3G feature phone with three megapixel camera, torch and durable casing to make it resistant to splashes, shocks and protect against dust. According to the manufacturer, these features make the handset is ideal for gardeners, farmers, walkers and anglers.

In line with the rest of Doro’s range the handset has an easy to read display, adjustable text, hearing aid compatibility and comes with a charging cradle and lanyard to allow it to be worn around the neck.

Doro UK and Ireland MD Chris Millington said: “Our aim is to create a portfolio of products that appeal to people from all walks of life, with different interests and pastimes.

“This handset is ideal for those who spend time outdoors or in environments where a harder wearing mobile would be appreciated. We have had fantastic feedback with regard to the robust style and design of this device.

“By expanding our offer we are giving more choice to our growing customer base. This in time creates a market opportunity for operators and retailers alike.”
