Pioneers in the Fixed Wireless Phone revolution receive Global Certification Forum endorsement

Approval from the independent certification body, which tests organisations based on official 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standards, has made Tecdesk one of just six GCF certified manufacturers in the UK.

Endorsement indicates that devices manufactured at the company operate to peak standards on mobile networks globally.

Tecdesk’s range of 3G wireless desk phones, aim to offer low Opex and Capex savings on bills and wired setup costs by replacing fixed lines with SIM based virtual PABX phones which do not require system integration.

The ODM/OEM manufacturer cites a variety of MVNO and MNO partner benefits to extend income streams.

These include a SIM based range that is easily deployable in portfolios and the potential to combine mobile and FWP plans to create incentivised packages. Tecdesk indicates that benefits such as these enable differentiation from competitors and the opportunity to establish a share in a new market.

The breadth of functionality in the range is said to enable potential opportunities across a number of sectors, from SMEs and large enterprise to firms which operate from location independent workstations such as portable building sites and exhibitions.

Tecdesk CEO Jay Pau says “Fixed Wireless Phone technology enables MVNOs, MNOs and retailers to capitalise on revenue opportunities across a variety of sectors.

Tecdesk’s status as one of just six GCF approved manufacturers in the UK exhibits an underpinning core company value to provide reliability to our partners and consumers.”

Since inception Tecdesk’s expansion initiatives, including the development of an R&D and design team of experts once at names such as Samsung, Blackberry and HTC, has resulted in the company extending its position at the forefront of the FWP market.

Tecdesk’s client list currently includes Coca-Cola and Pepsi, MNOs such as Vodafone and Orange and retailers like Netcom.
