New handset will be available through the network on June 13
The white version of the Nokia’s new Lumia, the 925, will be available exclusively through O2 from June 13.
The operator will make the handset available for pre-order from May 30 and it will be the first Nokia device to be sold without a charger as part of the network’s environmental ‘chargers out of the box’ initiative.
Nokia’s new device, which was unveiled today, runs Windows Phone 8 and includes an upgraded camera compared to the 920.
The operator has confirmed the handset will be available on its new Refresh tariff but other pricing details are not yet available.
O2 general manager devices David Johnson said: “Nokia has been going from strength to strength with Lumia and the 925 is the best Nokia Windows Phone 8 device yet. We’ve been big supporters of Windows Phone and it’s great to generate even more excitement around it with the new flagship Nokia Lumia 925.”
To coincide with the launch, the network has announced a competition to win ‘the perfect number’ to accompany the handset: 07525 925 925. Customers can enter the contest through Twitter.
