Mid-range smartphone adds to the growing list of Galaxy devices across different market segments
Samsung has revealed that its Galaxy Young smartphone will go on sale in the UK from this weekend. It will be available from a number of networks and online retailers, including Carphone Warehouse and O2.
The Galaxy Young is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It has a 3.2-inch touchscreen, three megapixel camera and 4GB of internal storage with the ability to expand that by 64GB with a microSD card.
The smartphone was first announced in February alongside the Galaxy Fame, which has similar specifications but has a slightly bigger screen at 3.5-inches and better quality camera at five megapixels.
