The two new iterations of the Galaxy Tab 3 will go on sale in the UK later this year and 4G, 3G and wi-fi only versions will be available
Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Tab 3, a tablet which is due to go on sale in the UK later this year.
The Galaxy Tab 3 will be available with an eight inch or a 10.1-inch screen. There will be 4G, 3G and wi-fi only versions of the device.
Samsung says eight inch version is designed to be held in one hand and comes with the manufacturer’s “reading mode” technology, which makes the screen appear paper like.
The smaller version is also designed for viewing videos, and comes with Samsung’s Sound Alive technology and Dolby Surround Sound.
The Galaxy Tab 3 eight inch also comes with the WatchOn function, which synchs with users’ televisions to enable the tablet to be used as a remote.
The 10.1 inch version is targeted at families and is designed to be a portable entertainment device. It can be used to stream films to TVs, control home audio systems and to play games in high-resolution.
