Former head of regions for the north charged with growing the GPS tracking service provider’s indirect channel
Crystal Ball has appointed former O2 exec Graham Cameron as its new channel business development director.
Cameron, who spent 20 years at O2 as head of regions for the north has been brought in to help grow the Manchester-based company’s indirect channel, which includes more than 300 dealers throughout the UK selling its mobile, vehicle and asset tracking, and lone worker protection solutions.
Cameron left O2 in April as part of an internal restructure of the operator’s SMB and enterprise teams which resulted in more than 20 job losses.
Crystal Ball managing director Raj Singh said Cameron’s appointment was a statement of the firm’s credentials and intent.
“Graham brings invaluable channel experience, an in-depth understanding of the mobile community and established relationships with a number of our existing partners,” said Singh. “His appointment is a significant endorsement of Crystal Ball’s credentials as an organisation, and a clear statement of intent to continue developing the channel.”
Cameron added: “My move to Crystal Ball may come as a surprise to some, but it was made because of a genuine excitement about the diverse product range which I have seen develop over the years. Combine this with a rapidly expanding market, and the time is right.”
