The rugged smartphone manufacturer said the appointment of former Vodafone and Orange employee Sue Osborne will help them take advantage of rapid enterprise smartphone ownership
UK-based rugged smartphone manufacturer Toughshield has appointed former Orange employee Sue Osborne as channel manager for the UK and Ireland.
Osborne spent 11 years with Orange (now EE) as business manager in the corporate auto/transport sector where she was responsible for winning business with some of the largest UK and global enterprise customers.
She has also held senior sales positions with Virgin Business Media and most recently, Vodafone.
At Toughshield Osborne will be responsible for new business and channel partner management, reporting to business development director Merrick Edwards.
She said: “The enterprise smartphone market is experiencing phenomenal growth at the moment and Toughshield has a vision to become one of the leading players. This is a hugely exciting opportunity for me and I am looking forward to introducing Toughshield to my network of contacts and to working with the channel to maximise this opportunity.”
Edwards said: “Sue’s skills and experience will further enhance our rapidly growing sales team and I am confident that she will make a very positive contribution to the future success of Toughshield as it takes advantage of the rapid growth of enterprise smartphone adoption in the UK and Ireland.”
