The MVNO now has 202,000 mobile customers, compared to 85,000 in the same quarter last year
TalkTalk Mobile has increased its subscriber numbers by 13 per cent in the first quarter of its financial year 2013/14
In the three months from April 1 to June 30, the MVNO saw mobile customers grow by 27,000, brining its total base to 202,000.
This is compared to a total base of 85,000 in its Q1 a year ago.
The company said growth was due to its “simple tariffs and compelling handset range”.
TalkTalk also said it has lowered churn, and that i60 per cent of its mobile customers are over 45 years old.
