Sarah Potter (pictured), who has worked for Tech Data and Toshiba, will be responsible for growing Micro-P’s market share within vendor partners
Micro-P has appointed a former Tech Data employee to the role of B2B business development manager.
Sarah Potter will be based in the distributor’s Basingstoke office and will be responsible for developing and executing its B2B strategy.
Potter will also be responsible for tailoring Micro-P’s market proposition to grow market share within each of its vendor partners (which includes Samsung, Sony and LG).
She joins the company from electronics manufacturer Toshiba, where she spent five and a half years in a senior sales role.
Prior to joining Toshiba Potter worked for nine years as sales manager and field sales executive for Computer 2000, part of distributor Tech Data Group.
Potter said: “This is an exciting time to join the Micro-P team as the business continues to outperform the market. I’m looking forward to the challenge of developing and executing Micro-P’s overall business to business strategy within its Computing Division, as this is one of the most dynamic and fast-moving sectors of the IT market.
“Not only does Micro-P already have a solid presence in this space, but it has the technical and distribution expertise to help deliver on the opportunities the team and I will work to create for the business and our reseller partners.”
