Products are now sold in more than 2,000 stores throughout the UK following these latest agreements
Gusto Telecom Solutions has added Carphone Warehouse and Sainsbury’s to the retailers selling its Juice chargers.
The Carphone deal went live this month, with Sainsbury’s stocking the products from September. They will go on sale in 500 Carphone stores and 250 Sainsbury’s supermarkets in all.
The Juice chargers, which launched last October, are now on sale in more than 2,000 UK retail outlets. These are Dixons Store Group’s (DSGi) 298 Currys and PC World stores, O2, John Lewis, Fonehouse, Staples and Channel Island-based telecoms provider Jersey Telecom.
There are six products in the range, which are packaged in juice cartons and are priced at £14.99 each. The iPhone charger has a green cable, the BlackBerry charger has a blue cable and the universal charger has an Orange cable, and there is a compatible car charger for each.
In addition, Gusto has also signed a deal with DSGi for Juice to have its own branded bay in 150 of its Currys and PC World stores. This will go live before the end of August.
Gusto Telecom Solutions managing director Joe Bennett said: “We’re coming towards the end of our first year as a company and we are on track to finish on plan.
“I’m particularly pleased to be able to enter the supermarket retail channel through Sainsbury’s. We chose them over Tesco and Asda because we found them to be of a slightly higher tier.”
